I was training for my second half marathon when a friend gifted me this salve to use after the race. After running my first half marathon last year, I was in so much pain I could barely walk and could not run for more than 2 weeks. As expected, I was very sore right after this year’s half marathon and walking felt very painful. I soaked in a hot Epsom salt bath then rubbed the arnica all over my knees, calves, and thighs and then sat down to rest. Half an hour later, I got up to get water and realized, no pain! I was still a bit sore but I could walk without limping or grimacing. I put more salve on my legs and knees before going to bed that night, and the next morning I woke up feeling very close to normal. I was able to run again after a couple of days without pain. It felt like a miracle—very different from my post-race experience last year! I immediately bought a jar for my mom, who suffers from arthritis. She’s feeling less pain too.
